Are you Diabetic ? Its time for you to check your Eyes






Diabetic is one of the major Non Communicable disease affecting almost all types of population in the World. Many with Diabetes do not consider it as a major health problem and take it casually.

People suffering for long duration need to have frequent Eye checkup as long term diabetes can adversely affect the Eye.

Diabetic Retinopathy is a complication of diabetes and a leading cause of blindness. It occurs when diabetes damages the tiny blood vessels inside the retina in the back of the eye. A healthy retina is necessary for good vision.

You may not have any symptoms of Diabetic Retinopathy initially, But it will gradually progress further and can ultimately lead to Blindness of both eyes.

How does Diabetes affect the Eye?
